The science of protection
Zetrisil® technology
Zetrisil® is ESC Brands’ own nano-based silicone compound. It can be used alone or with standard active ingredients. In selected sanitizers, it destroys germs physically, not only chemically.
Most sanitizers work chemically. Ours also works physically.
The sequence
How Zetrisil® works
A simple view of what happens when a germ meets the surface.
- 01
Attract
Positively charged molecules draw germs to the surface.
- 02
Disrupt
The molecules disturb the germ's outer membrane.
- 03
Rupture
Molecular spikes break through the cell wall.
- 04
Physical Kill
The germ is destroyed physically, not only chemically.

According to ESC Brands, its technologies have been tested by accredited laboratories in the United States, Canada, China and India.
